Hello All,

We went live on Apps10 UPD15 a few months ago using the Aurena front end.  Since we’ve now gotten several months of transactions in the system that the Shop Order Costs projection (and a handful of other projections around shop floor transactions) have some sort of  “Default filter” that is filtering out results older than 100 days.  This means that when we search for shop order costing results for orders outside that window, we get a blank page.

However, one of our team noted today that if we manually modify the URL string to set this value to false, the record will appear:

Curious if this group knows if there is an easy way to set this part of the URL to default to false so that users can find their records without having to manually change it?  Have looked in several obvious places for a configurable value, but not having any luck.

Any help/thoughts from the group would be appreciated!

Click Search all records to disable the default filter.

In IFS Cloud this is instead a toggle switch above the search attributes

Wow… knew it was likely staring me in the face, and there it is… in my own screenshot.

Thanks, Björn!

@adixon yeah...have seen the same question a couple of times on the community so guess it's not very intuitive design. But a bit better in IFS Cloud at least!

Is there a way to set this to  “False” as the default.  This functionality is used in multiple screens and the users are complaining because they are not getting all of the data they are requesting.  The system should never be filtering data unless the user request it.  Thanks,

Jennifer

Unfortunately I’m not aware of any way to disable the default filter. However if you save a search, the setting of the default filter will also be saved in that search.

And you can set a page to open by populating a saved search

However, be cautious as the reason why this default search is in place is performance, so if you disable the default filter in a saved search without narrowing down the search by any other indexed search parameter you might experience slow performance.
