Question

IFS v10 on premise

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

Hi,

Is it correct that IFS will stop developing on v10 on premise from 2025? and then focusing on Cloud?

Hi @mariamejlholm

I heard IFS App 10 will be out of support in 2025. Therefore your questions should be correct.

@ShawnBerk  - would you then have to pay additionally to get the extended support after 2025?

Developement is limited to Support, meaning bugfixes and legal requirements for different countries.

Developement of new or extended functionality is already stopped for IFS 10.

One thing that I would like to add is that IFS Cloud is still available on premise, as well as on the cloud. IFS offers the same solution, regardless of if you want to host it on premise or on the cloud.

Yes, that is shown in the slide that was in the link I sent.

25% premium for 2026

50% premium for 2027

100% premium for 2028

So you’ll have paid 5x for the maintenance for 3 years by 2028 if you stay on V10, not really a version of support that is supportable when you get down to it.

One of the main drivers for us jumping V10 and going to (trying) Cloud.
