Experiences with the "in memory" deployment

Forum|alt.badge.img+2

Hi All,

It should be possible to run IFS “in memory”, this means the data-entry tables will run fully in memory.

You will be able to select the tables which run in memory. This is facilitated by Oracle.I am curious whether someone has experience with this mode of running parts, or total IFS , in memory.

Questions like:

  • Will analytic background jobs run faster?
  • Do you notice differences in data-entry?
  • Do you notice differences in your analytic environment?

Thanks in advance,Johan
