We are struggle with APB, following a nice user guide, we try to take our hands on it but we face a technical issue at point 2.2.6.
First, after loading shop order, is it not colored as in the manual:

There may be many reasons why APB is unable to schedule and often it is data related.
Some things to try …
Expand the Shop Order to show the Operations
Double left click on the Operations to see more details. In my example, I don’t have a resource associated with the Labour Class so APB is unable to schedule.
This can then be corrected here
Reload the data into APB.
The Shop Order Operations are now scheduled (infinitely scheduled)
Select RMB option ‘Scheduling’
Press OK
In my example, the operations are now finitely scheduled and tardy (does not meet the Need Date)
