Project Management - Excess of Orders - which project?

I created a material requirement linked to the project. I generated a supply that exceeds the demand. After going through the PMRP/MRP loops and expiring Inventory PArt Availability Exceptions, I would like to see in the table which project is affected by the oversupply. The system blinds the Project ID column *. What do I need to do to see the project with oversupply at this point.

Hi @Krzysztof Ciesielski,

You can use MRP action proposals window to view the project IDs and the respective exception messages.

MRP action proposals are much more comprehensive.

And you do get the valuable hints from it like for example the messages:

  • Remove Order - pointing to the order
  • Late Order - pointing to the order -  and number of days late
  • Early Order - pointing to the order - and number of days early

When working with MRP planned parts, always better to look into MRP Action proposals rather than Availability Exceptions.
