Hello, I have a situation that has me baffled.  If I create a project invoice from an invoice plan, a value shows up in the Preliminary Revenue column.  But, if I create one from an AFP, the value does NOT show in the Preliminary Revenue column.  Are the AFP posting types still in play in this scenario?  Any help is appreciated.

Please check whether three setting are done with your Sales Con and Posting.

 

  1. Report Planned Revenue setting

 

  1. The corresponding Revision should be at “Active” state

 

  1. Both of these postings are setup in the relevant Company

This is helpful but unfortunately, I’ve got all of these settings as you indicate.  My PRJI1 and I2 are setup like this:

 

One thing I notice is that the Invoice Posting Row for the connection to the activity is blank.  I imagine that what I have wrong is causing this.
 

If you have any other ideas, I’m all ears.

I have a very similar posting control setup.  We’re using the Account as the base for the PCRE.
 

 

Does your system show preliminary revenue coming from the invoice created from the AFP?

 

I’ve pretty much convinced myself that it is a bug in the system.  I think there is something wrong when it creates the invoice posting connection to the project that’s making is leave that line blank.  I have a case to support on this, I’ll try to remember to post back here once it’s resolved.
