Hello,

When using the Project module, we enter cost estimates in the “Tasks” tab.

The origin of planned costs is set to “Activity resources”.

Despite the fact that costs exist in the tasks tab and are attached to a cost item, they do not go up to the activity monitoring level.

Could you tell me why?

Hi @Abdessamad,

In the IFS application the Tasks are considered as an object. Therefore you will have to set Planned Cost Driver  = Connected Objects to see the Tasks costs are coming to the Monitoring.

Thank you  @Tharindu Illangasinghe

That’s what I thought too, but the client comes from the 7.5 where while using tasks he could see the estimated costs when using “Activity Resources”.

Is it something that was possible in versions like 7.5 ?

Best regards

Hi @Abdessamad,

I actually can’t remember about the behaviour when it comes to App 7.5.

Pretty sure there have been number of changes that has happened between 7.5 and Cloud, for an example the setting “Exclude Activity Resources” was added to Planned Cost Driver in APP10. Hence, you could see such differences in the behaviour.
