Work center load based on maintenance object sub levels?
We have an issue/question related to machine load for work center and work orders.
Conditions for this to work is clear; wc resource connected to object, obstructive and status on work order etc.
Our issue is that work center resource is connected to a maintenance object where more detailed setup with sub levels below connected object id exists, see picture. I our case this is a robot cell with multiple robots, conveyors, stamping units etc. All defined as maintenance objects below object connected to WC resource.
We cannot se how, but is there a way to consider and show load also for obstructive work orders on lower levels for object id connected to WC resource?

Hi ,
There is no such functionality.
If I try to understand the functionality that is expected.. you have a work center and under it you have work center resources WCR1, and WCR2 ..WCR3 ,. n so on. Then you have objects, WCR1-Obj1, WCR2-obj2, WCR3-Obj3 n so on.. then these objects have sub object which intern has connections to other work center resources? If an obstructive work task created for parent object should act as obstructive work task for sub objects and therefore should make all connected work centers “ unavailable for production “ ? Is that what you meant?
So answer is no from Manufacturing end. Work tasks created for each and every object ( irrespective of the fact that they are in a work order structure or not) , will be seen by manufacturing and will consider that the machine is not available for production.
When creating a work task for parent object makes other objects also obstructive, is a functionality that I m not sure is exist. Someone with how object structure and connected obstructive work tasks work my know this better.
Hi,
I attach a picture to better illustrate what we want to do. Below work center resource ACU11 is connected to a maintenance object ACU11. Maintenance object ACU11 has a more detailed breakdown as can be seen in picture. If for example we create an obstructive work order for a sub level like ACU11-01, it will be impossible to run work center resource. We would like this to be reflected in load graphs for WC resource ACU11. Is this possible? I.e. consider also sub levels for connected object Id?
ACU11 is corresponding to a “ Machine in Shop Floor” called ACU11 correct? It may be lets say a Lathe Machine or CNC or any as such.
Then what would be corresponding to ACU-01 . in the shop floor? what is the real machine in manufacturing?
I m trying to understand the mapping here to answer.
Thanks
ACU11-01 does not exist in manufacturing, only in maintenance. It is a more detailed description of the object ACU11 that is connected to work center resource. This more detailed level is required for maintenance but not in manufacturing. Nevertheless if ACU11-01 is planned with obstructive maintenance work order, Work center resource ACU11 cannot operate. This is what we would like to visualize in load graphs.
In Manufacturing we use this connection.
Work Center Resource --→ Object connection ( in the work center resoruce)--→ Obstructive work task on object-→ This work task is reflected in manufacturing load graphs ( Example Manufacturing Visual Planning, Smart Manufacturing Planning Board).
If work task connected to sub level objects, there is no functionality at the moment to consider that as maintenance load to the parent object and therefore to the connected work center. May be this is a question first to Service team and Asset team to give a feedback. So please do post the requirement in that forum as well. Thank you.
