I am looking for a way to automatically manage multi-source manufacturing.

For the various cases below, I haven't found any functionalities that meet our customer needs.

Can you tell us if any solutions exist? Or if some functionalities could be available in the future IFS roadmap.

Case 1: distribution between different alternatives routings.

Expected functionality: to be able to distribute (in 😵 between 2 (or more) alternatives the quantities to be produced in a period without having to split the batch size of the shop order requests generated by the MRP.

Existing functionality we've found: distribution between different alternatives according to the quantity to be produced => doesn't meet customer needs.

Case 2: distribution between purchased and manufactured.

Expected functionality: to be able to distribute (in 😵 between manufacturing on routing and purchasing from supplier the quantities to be produced in a period, without having to split the batch size taken into account by MRP.

Existing functionality we've found: a quantity to be manufactured equivalent to a shop order request or purchase request (calculated by MRP) will be split between manufactured and purchased => doesn't meet customer needs.

Case 3: Distribution of purchase requests between different suppliers.

Expected functionality: to be able to distribute (in 😵 the purchase requisitions to be produced in a given period among several suppliers, without having to split the lot size of the purchase requisitions generated by MRP or shop order.

Existing functionality we've found: the quantity of a requisition will be distributed among the different suppliers set => doesn't meet customer needs.

Those functionalities will be very useful for us. It’s clearly a lack today in the solution
