IFS V.9

I’m facing an issue with a Shop Order. After opening the Shop Order and right-clicking to change its status to "Release," a popup message appears with a warning "The work center xxxxx is not assigned to the same procution line as part xxxxxxxxxxxx." . Has anyone encountered this issue before? I’d appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thank you.

In the Routing for the Shop Order part (or in the Operation Tab of the Shop Order after creating the Shop Order ignoring this message), Check the Details Tab of the work center in the operation for any Production Line connected. The Part No in the Shop Order may not have connected to the same production line.

Hi Dameenda,

Thank you so much for the advice.

I have one more question. We are facing an issue where some Work Centers are shared among multiple Production Lines.

Would it be possible for one Work Center to be linked to more than one Production Line, or do we need to adjust the system so that each Work Center is linked to only one Production Line to solve this issue?

Thank you!

HI;

Currently only one production Line is possible to connect to a Work Center, but that does not prevent the work center from performing operations belonging to other Production Lines.

In this case not entering a specific production line may suit better depending on the purpose of entering such Production Line.

Best Regards;

Dameenda.
