Shop order operation on person - employee level

Hi,

 

we are currently investigating to start using constraint based planning for employees/persons. However, we are struggling.

 

  • How can we assign persons to operations? Can be with APB, or not, we don’t know either way. Does this option give us the possibility to generate planning on a person level?
  • How can we also set the labor capacity as a seperate contstraint factor? Currently, APB only takes workcenters into account so we manually check afterwards.
  • Is it possible to assign some kind of efficiency to a operator? Lets say person A can do a certain job at 100% (which equals 4 hours). However, if we assign person B to that same operation because A is not available, he will not score 100%. We estimate it to be 50% because he is less well trained, so the operation will take 8 hours. Is something like this possible?

Hi,

 

we can assign employees using Assign Employee/Team To Operation/Teams:

 

  • Is it possible to let the Machine Run Factor change automatically based on the employee?
  • Can we have of a certain employee, to which operations he is assigned?

Hi

This is possible in certain level.

APB can use to make assignments  and that can be  used in scheduling

Hi all,

is this functionality relevant for IFS Cloud 23R1? Very probably we are blind and cannot find the dialog where this assignment is possible, we have just found the overview table with these assignments, no option to edit data directly or through 3-dots link at the record (see the pic below).

Any idea how this assignment can be created under IFS Cloud?
