We are getting this error when trying to create another analysis on a shop order.  We have never had this before and all control plan settings appear to be correct.  Any ideas?

Can you provide a screen shot of the operation against which the analysis is being created, showing the Operation Qty, Qty Complete, Qty Scrapped, and Remaining Qty.

What is the Inspection Code, Inspection Type (Qty or %) and Sample Percent/Qty on the Control Plan Data Point?

When you attempted to create the analysis, did you have ‘Consider Op Scrap’ = TRUE?

Yes.  See below.  Analysis is being created on operation 9900.  No, Consider Op Scrap was toggled off.

Inspection Code: all data points are Quantity

Inspection Type:  all data points are Quantity

Inspection Percentage/Quantity:  all data points are 1

Hi,

It will not be easy to find out at this distance. Is there another analysis for this shop order that has worked? Is the correct control plan assigned to the shop order? Is the control plan still active?

Otherwise, I recommend opening a support case if everything worked with this control plan before and now no longer works without making any changes.

Regards, Mike

Hi,

When this error appears, it's because the quantity in the Lots/Batches tab is 0.
You need to set the Lot/Batch Qty (e.g. equal to the Lot Size).
