When we set a Budget in the Project Forecast as Forecast Type Budget for certain Cost Elements make as Active, then we do the transactions like Material Demand for the Cost Elements, its not updating the Used cost in the Project Forecast.

Ok. And have you created a new forecast afterwards? Or have you used function “live view”? wile creating the first forecast?

i have created the Forecast before doing the transaction, and also i have used Live View… still the cost is not updated in the Forecast.

You have to get the used cost into the forecast by creating a snapshot. Even though you used Live View option when creating the forecast it is not dynamic. You still have to create the snapshot with Live View when you want to see the updated cost, only diffence is, it will not have a cut off date and you will see the live values.
