Tried everything, and analysis is not getting created automatically when variable result status field is out of specification, or partly within specification or when attribute result status has existing nonconformities. Set part/site to mandatory and then not mandatory. What am I doing wrong? using apps 10 IEE.
HI
What is the sample size in the analysis?
the nonconforming trigger creates to analyze the remaining qty, if the entire qty = sample size, that is 100% inspection, then no new analysis created in case of nonconforming results as there is nothing left to inspect.
Also the Trigger needed to be connected to the Control Plan Line;
Also it is required to Complete the Analysis Result.
Then a system generated Analysis will be created to inspect the remaining Qty.
Well, that is unfortunate. We only produce one serial per shop order and sample quantity is 1 on the control plan is 1. So there is no remaining quantity, so we would never be able to create a second analysis and test again on the same serial #? is there a way to manually create an analysis? what if you cancel one, can you create a new one?
Usually idea of having a non-conforming trigger is to perform 100% inspection for the lot in case of detecting nonconformities for a portion of the Lot during the inspection. Then the remaining qty of the lot is to be inspected for the same criteria (as entered in the Data points). In your case the Part is already inspected. So there is no need to do reinspection based on the same criteria that has been used for the part.
You can create any amount of analysis manually, simply select the Operation in Shop Order/ Operations tab and RMB Select Shop Order Analysis/ Create. make sure the Shop Order is not in Planned or Closed State.
Thanks so much. You have been much help.
Thank You Annie, hope the above ha answered you.
