What sets this date, we have been using IFS for 3 years and this field is always blank.
+25I believe this is mostly used to calculate an Expiration Date. I believe the parts must at least be lot/batch tracked for this to work.
Below I set a Shelf Life of 365 Days for my lot/batch tracked product
Now if I set a Manufacturing Date on the shop order this will be used to calculate the Expiration Date (and saved on the Part Lot Batch. If you don’t set anything I believe the date when you first receive the lot/batch from the shop order will be used.
