Hi,
In some IFS screens (Ex : Shop order Material Tab), it’s impossible to apply a filter by bPart description]. Only lPart code] is available.
But sometimes (ex : Shop Orders vue), we can apply a filter by rPart description].
So users have to swith between différent screens in IFS.

I hope you refer to the Materials tab in the shop order screen in your first sentence.
If so, you can use the ‘Find’ option to broaden your filtration criteria. In the ‘Component Part’ filter option, click on find, and then another screen will pop up allowing users to search components using the ‘Description’
