+18Has anyone come across the scenario where deletion of a Shop Order operation has been allowed where there are existing Labour and/or Operation hours Transactions - albeit that those transactions were at zero cost value so no actual cost incurred or transacted and not GL voucher created?
Just wondering what thoughts are whether this should or should not be allowed?
We were surprised it was allowed …
We’re on Cloud now but it’s also allowed in Apps9.

When there are no transactions exists for the operation or all the created transactions have been reversed, then it is allowed to delete the Operation Line as it does not incur any financial effect.

Yes, the system allows the Shop Order operation deletion even after the machine/hours reporting, which is not logically correct, and ideally, it should not be allowed. However, the system is not deleting the Labor and Operation History, so you can get the number of hours reported against the deleted operation.
Better, you should put a check on it for proper tracking, and additionally, ask for LCS's opinion on it.
