Hello,

Is there any way to exclude any inventory location that is considered an “inbound work center location” when creating a count report?

Thank you,

Matt

Do you have the locations named or arranged by Warehouse or Bay such that you could exclude them at that level?  If so, you should be able to use the parameter “<>INC” (for example) in the Warehouse field on the Create Count Report dialog to exclude them.  If they are an Arrival Location Group, they should be excluded automatically.

Agreeing to what has mentioned by @ShawnBerk, I would like to add few things :relaxed:.

Counting cannot be performed for the Location types Arrival, Inspection and Shipment. In case your “inbound work center location” is one of those type it would be automatically excluded.

Or, you can define storage zones excluding the locations and warehouses that you do not want to consider for counting.

In Warehouse management > Location > Storage Zones window you can define that.

Now you can create count reports for these Storage zones.

Hope this can be considered as a option here.
