We are trying to close out a project but we get the message that there is some work that remains to be completed.  When we go to the Unfinished Activity Work window the message reads,

‘There is at least one Project Transaction which has not been completely invoiced or where Multi-Company Reporting Revenue voucher has not been created.’

How do we resolve this issue?  The project has transactions from back in like 2006, 2007, 2008 so invoicing is not an option.  We just want to close this project.

Hi Astark,

I’m not sure whether bellow information will help you in resolving the issue. This was the same error we observed once and it was rectified by following bellow steps.

Please ensure that there are no costs under Committed costs and that they are null before closing the Project activity,

Also, every time the Used Cost should be equal to the Actual Cost.

If any of the above-mentioned conditions are met, please refresh project connections and monitor progress. Please follow the steps below to re-establish project connections.

a) Go to Project Management -> Analysis -> Project Connections window

b) RMB on the body -> Refresh Project Connections

c) Execute the job for specific project

Thanks ,
Tharindu

HI Astark,

If you are still having issue after following above steps(even after refresh project connections), please try below too.

a) Go to Project Transactions window and query all transactions related to the error making Project Activity

b) Under “Invoicability” column and check are there any “Invoiceable” transactions still Not invoiced. If it is so please invoice those. Or change to “Not Invoiceable” and save

c) Now refresh project connections and try to Close the Project Activity

If you still having the issue, please check whether are there other transactions (Ex: Material transactions) still not transferred to the Project/Activity. If it is so, before close the Activity, please transfer those to Project and update vouchers to GL.

Hope this helps you.

Thank you both for your quick response, I will follow up if one these help!  Thanks again!
