Environment: Regional Test CMB 22R1

Test Plan:

  1. Create an ‘Operation Block’ and connect few operations.
  2. Assign Operation Priority to the connected operations.
  3. Go to Shop Floor Workbench. Identify if required. Filter by ‘Barcode’ and enter Operation Block ID.
  4. Notice that the operations are displayed in an ascending order of the Shop Order IDs but not the Operation Priorities mentioned in the Operation Block ID.

Requirement: The purpose behind an operation block is to add multiple operations to it and assign priority orders in which the operations should be completed, creating a work-to list for the operators.

When you schedule an operation block (in sequence) the operation priority is considered when determining in which order operations within the block should be scheduled). However, as you have noticed it seems that when you filter workbench by operation block ID, there’s no sorting applied meaning that operations typically sorts according to the order number.

For the next IFS Cloud release (23R1) this has been enhanced so that operations are sorted within the block as they have been scheduled, and since the scheduling considered the operation priority it kind of supports your requirement I hope.
