+4In IFS Cloud 24R1 UPD 5, Inventory Part has a classification called Product Category which is a drop-down list. However, I could not find any basic data page where values can be added to Product Category. Couldn’t find any content in the IFS Product Documentation regarding this field and the Inventory Part page has no Field Description for it either.
Can someone help please?

From my investigations, I found that, ‘Year End Stock Level Report Basic Data’ is the basic data page for Product Category.
However, it appears that Product Category is enabled for only selected sites. I found that it works for sites that belong to companies with Portuguese localization with below settings.

This is brilliant! Thanks so much. I tried it in our customer’s environment, and it works.
The page ‘Year End Stock Level Report Basic Data’ is company specific. With your mention of the Portugal Localization, I wondered if IFS has mistakenly made it enabled for our customer which is Australian. But seems like not.
I could not find this field in any of our other customers’ environments which I assumed because they are all in older IFS Cloud versions compared to this one. I wonder if IFS has now included the localization functionality in the Core application or if it really is made available by mistake. I will look a bit more into this before deciding if this really is the best field to use for our customer’s requirement to have Product Category.
