The documentation states the following, but I cannot find where to download the Layout Migration Tool in the Remote Deployment Guide.
Can anyone tell me where I can download the Report Layout Migration Tool?

https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r1/070_remote_deploy/400_installation_options/005_operational_reporting/150_layout_migration_tool/

--> https://developer.ifs.com/

The tool is not currently available to the public. The Portal team has removed the link from the 24R1 site while the tool undergoes further testing. The Developer Portal team has indicated that additional testing is needed. Once the tool is ready for release, it will be made available on the Developer Portal.

Same here, we look forward to have a tool to migrate and start using Report Studio instead of Report Designer.

Sorry but where have you found it ?

It should be there : IFS Developer Portal but not in downloads list and no search there ...

And not better there : Layout Migration Tool - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud

Guys,

after discussion with IFS R&D teams, the tool is not yet finalized and that is the reason why it is not yet available.

Mainly issue in communicated current status here. Hope this will be soon there.

The tool is available again, but when I tried to convert on report, OMG, what a mess:

Our experience on 25R1 is that the conversion is dubious at best. The header, okay,  mostly. The rest? Even basic out of the box basic reports without any customizations do not get converted properly.

Agree, even converting the standard IFS report RDLs using the layout migration tool gives us a report that is unusable.  It will be quicker creating the report from scratch rather than trying to fix the issues

Our experience exactly. It seems to be a tool for the IFS sales team to tell naive customers about but is essentially vaporware. It is easier to just create the report from scratch.
