Encountered an issue when running a scheduled quick report in IFS Cloud 24R1. When the report is sent as an email attachment in Excel format, it contains extra spaces around the cells (except for the header row). However, when I run the same report and export it directly from the quick report/output window, it appears correctly without these extra spaces.

Example -

Scheduled quick report mail attachment:

Output from Quick report window:

Could you please guide me what configuration settings should be adjusted to prevent the extra spaces in the scheduled reports Excel attachment?

Is there a specific setting related to the export format that might be causing these spaces?

Any other suggestions to resolve this issue?

Thank you!

Hi @ashen_malaka_ranasinghe

Thank you for your response. I will check this in 24R2.

Hi @ashen_malaka_ranasinghe

We still have an issue in 24R2, where some rows in the same column have extra space in the cell while other rows do not.

Versions

24.2.3

Issue is also present in 24.2.5 - 24R2 SU5

This might have already fixed by RnD team. Could you please suggest the service update.

Thank You!

Hi @SnehaG,

I will check this from our end as well. Meanwhile did you notice this behavior for all the excel outputs?

Hi @ashen_malaka_ranasinghe,

We also still have this problem in 24.1.11

Our example if it can help : In the first column, most of the lines are OK, but on some lines (102,202,302,402) we have a carriage return before the text (not a space).

Thanks for your investigation.
