BR Reports refuse to be rendered as a PDF although these settings were done:

There was an issue with PDFs which should have been resolved by BR version 23.2.0 (EIZBR-2617), but I am using version 24.1.1 in this case and still I am getting would-be PDFs as ordinary Excel workbooks.

Hi @VolkerW

When you download the report from IFS Cloud, it will be downloaded as an Excel file. However, when you open the report, it will be converted into a PDF file.

Make sure you have Business Reporter tool installed in your machine.

Hope this helps you

Thank You
Best Regards
Shenali

Hi @shwiclk

Thanks a lot for your help.

That would be nice, but - no, it doesn’t.

Correct me if I’m wrong here but isn’t the Business Execution Server meant especially for those who don’t have the client installed? I do have it (where else should the report come from) but I should get the PDF without it. By the way: I only get XLS files regardless what I do with the client.

Thanks, Volker

I haven’t used this PDF setting since version 9, but I just tried it on IFS24R1/Update 13 and the BR report is also not converted to a PDF as you described above.

Did you ever find an answer to this question?

BR reports are generated only in Excel format. If you need a PDF, you’ll have to adjust the Report Settings in the BR Excel add-in, download the report in XLSX/XLS format, and then open it, where it will display as a PDF.
