Hi there,

I am wondering if there is anyway to add data sources to workload jobs in batches rather than one at a time. I have hundreds to add to a workload job and want to avoid having to do this one at a time.

Cheers

Hi, good day! Currently, in custom Workload Job Definitions, Data Sources need to be added individually, as there is no bulk‑add capability available.

We are considering this as a potential enhancement to make it easier to manage Workload Job Definitions that involve a large number of Data sources.
As an option available today, starting from 25R2, you can create Packaged Workload Job Definitions based on Analysis Models or Information Sources. This allows a Workload Job Definition to be created with multiple Data Sources, depending on the selected Model or Information Source.
Please note that this Packaged Workload Job Definition approach may not fully cover your requirement at this time, but wanted to share it as an option you may consider.

Reference documentation : Packaged Workload Job Definitions - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud

We will share updates as enhancements to this feature (adding multiple Data Sources) become available. Thank you.

thanks Sammani - disappointing, but good to know its under consideration.

Another question...is it possible to batch delete data sources rather than one by one?
