PPC often has unrecoverable errors without the detail required to troubleshoot further.
Often it is not possible to save when this occurs therefore PPC must be closed completely and reopened.
Has anyone in the community using PPC experienced this and if so kindly provide feedback.

We have experienced this also in v8.2 and v8.2. We have never been able to narrow down the circumstances or any trigger for the behaviour.
I advise our Team to save the Plan regularly especially if they are intending to make many changes as once the unrecoverable error occurs anything not saved is lost.
