Searching for a way to accrue vacation based on hours worked as opposed to time period from start date. Is this possible, or are there any advanced rules that can be built to achieve this?

You can use Balance Definitions and Work Hour Rules to accrue hours as balances.

There is also a possibility to increase the vacation balance automatically based on the worked hours.The rule can be defined in Increment types.

How is this supposed to work if you are using increments and balance definitions? Will the absence limit and absence calendar functionality work with this method?
