Hi,

Is there a way to set up the time clock terminal for Work Order time reporting in IFS Cloud? If anyone has experience with this, could you please share the steps or provide any guidance?

Thanks & Best Regards,
Navoda

@Navoda.Nuwangi : I have not used it, but below steps can be done

1. Prerequisites and Basic Data Setup

2. Terminal Setup

  • Install Browser: Install Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge Chromium on the terminal device (PC or tablet) that will be used as the time clock terminal.
  • Access Time Clock Terminal Window: Access the relevant Time Clock Terminal configuration window in IFS to link the device to the time clock user and define button configurations.
  • Configure Buttons: In the configuration, define the buttons for actions such as creating an organization IN clocking. You can set buttons to be card-driven (requiring a swipe) or manually driven.

3. Work Order Time Reporting

  • Open Time Clock Terminal: On the terminal device, open the Time Clock application using the configured browser.
  • Start Reporting: Click the relevant button to start clocking in, such as an "IN" button.
  • Identify Employee and Work Order:
    • If it's a card-driven option, swipe your card, and the employee and company details will appear.
    • If manual, you may need to enter the employee ID and company ID.
  • Enter Work Order Information: In the dialog that appears, enter the relevant Organization Code or Work Order ID to associate your time with the correct work order.
  • Confirm Clocking: Click the OK button to create the clocking record

Hi @vickyrohilya.

Thank you for your reply.

I was able to complete the basic data setup and terminal setup as per the steps. However, I’m stuck at the Time Clock – Time Registration stage.

Could you please guide me on how to configure work order details in the Time Clock under the IN button? Specifically, what needs to be set up during the button configuration to display the Work Order ID in the Time Clock?

PS: I will be performing this registration manually.

Best regards,

Navoda
