Restrict Employment data by Site or Custom field

Hi Guys

I'm wondering if it's possible to restrict access to employee files by site or any other criteria, such as work location? I know currently we can only restrict by Company level.

We have a situation where there are two sites under the same company, but we need to restrict employee data so that HR personnel from each site can only access information related to their specific location.

By the way, we’re on IFS10 IEE.

Thanks in advance

Hi @Dineshy7,

You can use the Supervisor Access-set up window to grant access only for the selected organization unit for your HR Person. Then he/she can see only the employees attached to the relevant organization.

You can use the role or position to grant access, but you may remove the HR application manager access if it is already granted.

Hi @Dineshy7 ,

As you already stated, employee or HR related data is defined per company, not specific to site. When providing access rights, it will be granted through company or organization units.

Any possibility to define your 2 sites as separate organization units? if so, you will be able to grant accesses to each business unit.

Best Regards,

Lasanthi

Hi @Lasanthi Jinadasa

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Yes, we can define new Organizational units, but could you please elaborate on hoe we can grant access to each business unit afterwards?

Thanks
