Hi Heroes,

I need to protect all employees personal/home address and restrict access to special managers.

The work address MUST stay accessible to all employees.

is there is a way to do it thru Access Attribute ? which one ?

This could be achieved through ‘Protected Person’ functionality.

 

Personal Address is protected in Protected Information window

 

You can provide access to relevant users through Access to Protected Persons windoiw

 

Check “Protected” checkbox in Person window. This “Protected’ tickbox will be reflected in Employee File window > Personal Tab > Address Tab too

You can define one address type with ‘Home

 

 

and the other address with ‘Work’. (leave only the ‘Work’ Address Type.)

 

Users who are not added in Access to Protected Person window can see only Address -Work

Is this means that I have to add ALL employees as protected in order to use this functionality ? because I need to protect ALL employees personal address.

Yes, “Protected” tickbox have to be checked for all persons/employees in this case. You can use Protected Persons window since this window can be used to view and easily add persons who belong to  protected persons.

I am trying to do it on the position level and check the ‘Protected Person’ checkbox but the employee assigned to this position is still not protected (not working the way help is informing) . Any idea ?

it works when I do it from ‘Protected Person’ window …
