Employments\Reduction=>Exclude from FTE?

Hello,

We are trying to evaluate the headcounts as FTE Full Time Employee.

In the employment area, we can add some reduction of the employment.  In case of parental leave for exemple it is quite practical.

However the field “Exclude from FTE” remain a bit unclear. 
- it does not have any circled “i”  to indicate the field description.


Checking at the Page Help, we get only those information, but nothing related to the “Exclude from FTE”
 


This field is quite confusing,

  • Some people think the “The reduction” is Excluded from the FTE calculation. (Reduction non-accountable for FTE)
  • Other people thinks that the toggle will exclude the reduction time from the FTE calculation. (Reduction accountable for FTE)


Does anyone has a better understanding/documentation of this field?

Hi Anthony,

I do not have an answer to your specific question, but please note that the setting on reduction which you are referring to only has an impact on Headcount data in IFS Business Reporter and not on the data in the ERP’s interface.
