We need to extend a sickness against an employee but it keeps showing the below error message.

This error message also comes up when we try and delete the line. The absence is setup as follows

We are normally able to extend sickness and no changes have been made to the configuration.

All timesheets are at a status of ‘transferred’. The only difference is that on the 1st September, the employee was moved to another org unit within the company. His timesheets all look a little different during this period. 

 

What would be causing the error message?

Some things to check… 

And the Registration checkbox ticked?

And you are logged on with a user that has access to all org units - both old and new for this employee… if it is split.

Also note that you user must have a “high admin access role” - sincethere are transferred days in the period you need to have access to transferred result in the access role. When you extend the absence the whole absence period is recalculated.

Thank you for replying so quickly. 

 

Our setup of the absence type is the same as you have in your screenshot. 

 

The employee making the change is in HR, she has access to all org units and a “high admin access role” .
