When I run a search on the order locator module, my results are displayed correctly. If I perform a clear and attempt a second search, some of my fields get greyed out as seen in the screen shot. The only way to get them back is to reset my view and start again. Is this only happening to me?

Edit: we are on version 15.2.0.1 Currently testing v15-.2 before upgrade, and we find taht if we add a manual PO number on a sales order, Astea will try to look it up. Alliance 15.1 HF8 – Disabling TLS 1.0 causes connectivity error when using Configuration Editor to setup/test a DB connection. The Astea Browser Employee Portal still functions. Seems the Configuration Editor is still using TLS 1.0 to connect to the database - This is on the application servers. With the above issue we cannot create additional Profiles. The error is resolved when I enable TLS 1.0 on the application server and below is the event log error.

I have created a Checklist that has a Yes/No question. If the tech answers No, a comment is required. Question #1 - mandatory - Yes/No question Question #2 - If Question 1 = No, Text Comment is Mandatory Question 1 Question 2 On Mobile Edge, however, the Tech can answer No and save without adding the Comment. The status of the Checklist is Pass. When the back office user tries to invoice or change the SV, an error blocks them saying “There is an Open Checklist on this order.” At this point, the checklist cannot be edited in any way. It cannot be removed from the order either. I have reviewed my Checklist setup with my Astea Business Consultant to confirm that it is set up correctly. In my opinion, this is a bug in Mobile Edge that is not respecting the Mandatory comment. I am on Alliance v14. To resolve, I have to create a request for IFS Support to run a query to fix the order and invoice my customer. This causes significant delays in billing. Have you seen this before? Any suggestion

Is it possible to set tab order in Alliance v15.2? Specifically in Receiving, but curious about other modules as well.

We have some products where we want to have a regular quantity discount price. I try to set this up in the MAIN pricebook as follows: 1-9 qty price = 19/ea. If 10 or more, price = 14/ea. This is my setup in the pricebook: But this is what is shown on the salesorder lines: Am I missing something? Or is not how the pricebook works?

When creating a new contract in v15, we find that the Contract ID is blanked when we chose Contract Template. Is there a way to either keep the Contract ID after chosing a template, or rearrange the order of the data fields som Contract Template comes before Contract ID?

We are currently testing Aseta v15. My users do not like the simplfied contract view, as they have to go to full contract view in 99% of the time. Is there a way to set this up?

Is it possible to update the status of open service orders via Excel import? Our dispatchers would like to do this on a regular basis. And doing it manually is too time consuming

Hello, today we faced some issues with our DB. After it was fixed, we want to rehandle the transactions in bulk, because manually it is very much effort. Is there a way to rehandle unsucessful API's in bulk? Also, we only have option "Audit APIs for this user" only enabled for the system integrated users (like bu_ProcessFlow and bu_Integration). Is there a way to find (and resend) also unsucessful transactions from the users, which faced the error and have not enabled Audit API option? I need to set up a new profile in our UAT, but when I try to save the profile I get an error message: failed to save global xml, consult event log for details. Event log says:

We use our UAT to test customizations and upgrades. For practical reaosns I have now attached (an upgraded version) of a live database to an existing UTA profile, but Product Centre will not open as there is an old customization causing havoc (the customization contains 2 new data fields in bpart that is not in the currently attached database). And I am not able to open Customizer on Product Center (Customize Screen is greyed out). Help?

This tip is for Support / Admin users who are unable to access all modules in Alliance Browser. Modules Not Loading... Login into Alliance Web Portal → go to your user profile in the Employees module → navigate into the Security menu → toggle the Customizer option → and finally Save the changes. Employee Security Module Try login in the Alliance Browser again, you will be greeted with a warning message as shown below, click Yes to continue. This is regarding Astea - S4HANA integration. Can someone please let me know the process involved in configuring the Astea Server and application to send and receive API messages from SAP S/4HANA? It will be helpful if you can explain the steps in detail.

Debugging an application can be a painful endeavor sometimes, but the Astea Alliance has provided us with a very helpful little tool called the Configuration Editor that forces the application to log all related events and data to the MS Windows Event Viewer where we can easily trace issues. To enable logging in Astea Application, fire up the Configuration Editor. Navigate to PROFILES -> [YOUR PROFILE NAME] -> Globals and set the IsDebugMode to True Configuration Editor Once enabled you can view these logs in the Event Viewer under Application and Services Logs, in the name of your application instance. Event Viewer Additional Notes IsDebugModeFW - captures framework level event logs. IsDebugModeIDO - captures mobile application event logs. Word of Caution Please be careful when enabling debug modes on production systems, as it will fill up valuable storage space and will cause a performance hit to the application.

Hello, Please note that there is an issue when Customiser changes are being published in V15SP1HF10. This is a known issue and has been addressed and fixed in V15SP1HF11 which will be released to our offices from the R&D team, in late November this year. Unfortunately, due to all the Framework file changes, a standalone fix is not possible. What can/does occur after a report, UI , etc. changes, have been published, is that the users see the below error within multiple modules , including the mobile technicians whereby their activities are coming up blank. The interim solution to resolve this issue, is to perform an IISRESET. We would recommend that customers on V15SP1HF10 perform customiser changes after hours and perform an IISRESET immediately afterwards, to minimise the disruption to the business. We are using 14.0.0.24, Mobile Edge version 15.3.0.0.1 Sometimes we want the SA to do a Direct transfer of a part from one warehouse to another but we need them to select parts from particular bins in the source warehouse, but on Mobile we cannot see or choose the bin that the part will come from, it just chooses a part from the first bin it finds the part. Is there any way for the Mobile user to see in which Bin a part is located when doing a Stock Enquiry? And more important, is there any way the SA can select which bin to transfer the part from?

Just wanted to share a tip re/ data entry within Alliance. When the focus is in a lookup field in Alliance, pressing F2 on the keyboard will launch the lookup window for that field. While the lookup window is open, pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER on the keyboard will select the highlighted record and close the lookup window.

Messages sent to out incoming mail are being picked up bij the email listener services. They ‘re placed in the processed folder in the mailbox. But the messages don’t appear in the History of Error queue when i check the API Controller.exe on our utility server.
