Hello, IFS has added search capability in the column chooser, and the very handy “go to column” right mouse option. One place where it would be nice to search is in the search dialog, Configure Search Fields. Are there any plans to add the “search” option at the top of the available and show columns?
+31This is not yet available, even in the latest IFSAPP10 IEE client version. I don’t think there is a plan at the moment to add this feature. What you can do is create a case requesting this feature and then we can post in on our Idea Wall so that our Product Development team can consider it for future developments. Make sure to mention in the case notes that it is for the Idea Wall.
+19I started using IFS in the Centura days and still find myself always going to the Advanced dialog for searches. This is the way searches used to look like for everyone, and I find it more intuitive. (I can understand it’s visually noisy, though.)
From there, you can click the “Field” column header to sort the field names.
