Hello IFS Community,

I hope you're all doing well.

I was wondering if someone could help guide me. I'm looking for a way to remove access to an internal tab in the system. I've attached a screenshot for more details.

 

Looking to remove the view to the check box and the word Default Payment Method for Installments and the remove the view for Payment Method and remove view to the entire Misc Payment Info tab

I’m not sure if this can be done using permissions, but you can remove them from the screen using user/base profile.

Remove Misc Payment Info

RMB on the Payment tab and go to Properties

  1. Click on the Layout tab
  2. Check Use customized screen layout
  3. Change tab visibility
  4. Uncheck Misc Payment Info

 

Removing the Payment method table and other fields:

Find these items in the Objects pane and disable

I initially thought this could be managed at the permission set level, but I’ve been looking more closely into permission settings.

I was aware that it could be handled at the Profile level, as you demonstrated above.
