Quick report that runs in the background

Hello, 

How do I generate a pop-up report in the background? I have a report that takes several hours to run. We tried sending via email but it failed. The file is too large.How did you deal with such a problem?

You could try creating a Application Server Task and then a Scheduled Task.

    Hi,

     

    You can schedule a SQL quick report. Then it will be run in the background and email to you. However it will be exported to Excel and emailed.
