Hi, We experienced a login failure, which was reported under the following IFS Community post. A fix is currently on the way.
Bug 25R1 SU3 login fails | IFS Community
You can find more details about the support platform in the following document.
https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/25r1/080_supported_platforms/
I tested the upgrade from Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04 LTS, and the process completed without any issues. However, the VM is not stable, and I experienced connection failures. Based on my understanding, the best approach is to spin up a new Ubuntu 22.04 VM, as it is more stable.
Hey @maheshmuz
Thank you for your reply. Apart from the issues mentioned, have you encountered any other problems? I mean custom events, custom fields? I see in the documentation that Ubuntu 22.04 is specified, but only for 24R2 – I understand that there is no problem with 22.04? What about Kubernetes? It is also not clearly specified that Ubuntu has Kubernetes version 1.32 – should I update it separately?
As for the Ubuntu installation itself, I am also considering setting up a new virtual machine with the target operating system version.
Hi,Other than that, I haven’t noticed any issues. Yes, there are no problems with 22.04. For Kubernetes version control, you should download the new artifact created with the release update from the IFS Lifecycle Portal and use it to create a new ifsroot for installing the release update.
@kacperifs Have you checked out the articles available in the 25r1 Release Notes?
