IFS IEE - Stress Performance Testing

Dear all,

 

We have started looking into stress performance testing of IFS IEE application. I want to know if any one of you have successfully tried this with performance testing tools other than LoadRunner. I need some help in recording and replay back of the transactions.

 

I have tried using JMeter. But http.byte.array.message types are not getting recorded in JMeter.

The strange observation is, even though I have stopped proxy recording in JMeter, IEE application still doing transactions with server. Not sure how application is exchanging data with server.

 

If anyone have tried this similar, please help.

@RohitBBorse : I dont think Jmeter will work with IFS Enterprise Explorer application. Unfortunately, Load Runner could be one of the best option (which is quite expensive) and maybe you can try with NeoLoad - It is less expensive than LoadRunner. I don’t think its easy to get an open source PT tool to Test IFS EE because its architecture is still similar to a thick client application

Hi,

 

we also want to carry out some Exploratory Performance Testing, across IFS and integrated applications. Can anyone recommend a UK based IFS Partner or a specialist in PTaasS (Performance Testing as a Service) who they have successfully worked with on a similar exercise?

@James Targett : OK. If I’m correct you would like to test IFS 10 Enterprise Explorer Application with several integrations. Am I correct? Do you also use IFS 10 Aurena Application?

 

For IFS 10 Enterprise Explorer Application, We (Capgemini) is in process to identify to suitable tool which can simulate real user load (Load Test/Performance Test/Stress Test). Once, we get a breakthrough, I will be glad to share with you

 

For IFS 10 Aurena Application & IFS Cloud => Capgemini already have a prototype/working solution to simulate real user load (Load Test/Performance Test/Stress Test).

Hi @Anil Dubey , I manged to use IBM - Rational Integration Tester tool for SPT. Recorded transactions are getting successful. Also able to do some automation. But most of thr transactions are failing with an error Expecting delimiter, but found character code ….

Do you have any idea as how to get rid of this error message. I have raised question on community page

@RohitBBorse : We haven’t used IBM Rational Testing tool  due to fact that it records HTTP request/response. It is interesting that you were able to record the transaction on IFS 10 EE. I will check internally if we know anything about this error. Let me know if you find a solution.
