Can anyone provide me to instructions on how to set up and use the integration of EOI to Apps 10? Other than the very poor populated section on the IFS EOI wiki (http://wiki.eoi.ifsworld.com/Academy_Specialist_Course_-_EOI_integration_with_IFS_Apps).

I'm particularly interested in the configuration instructions on the IFS analytics cubes that can be directly accessed through this standard connector. And if anyone can share hands on experience with Apps 10.

Hello,

Assuming you are running recent version of EOI, the easiest way to get this started would be add the BI cockpit through the installer to the installation. You get bit more information on how to setup the integration end points and fetch the initial metadata required from IFS easily using the Integration related options available in the pre-configured BI Cockpit. Check out http://wiki.eoi.ifsworld.com/Packaged_Solutions_-_BI_Cockpits_-_Manual for more information.

Cheers

Hi Sajith,

Thank you for your swift reply. The link you added of the BI cockpit packaged solutions is going to the same content as I had added in my initial question. That topic is only covering setting up the connector itself. But Is that everything there is?

Would you know of any examples, applications of having it used on an existing Apps 9 or Apps 10 implementation? or has it only been applied in a mock up?

Would you know of a training program existing with the IFS Academy covering the IFS Apps Analytics cubes (preferably in combination with IFS EOI, but not necessarily, A bit more background on IFS Apps analytics cubes would be welcome as well to be able to understand how to connect to them using this connector.

cheers

Erwin

Hi Erwin,

Hope you are ok?

Not sure if you are still looking for an answer, but if you want to set up the integration with Applications within EOI, if correct the following link should help you out:

Linda

Hi Linda,

 all is well, thank you and thanks for asking. Everything alright at your end?

Thank you for this link… and yes I'm still looking for an answer. I could not find that reference on the wiki indeed. And… of course, knowing me… I have an additional question directly related to the wiki link you sent me:

  • the link added on the page, referring to the technical documentation is not accessible for anyone outside of IFS. But luckily, I do have access to a similar stack via IFS Customer Schoeller Allibert. But I could use some help on the following link…
  • that  link on the page referring to Setting up BI services before integrating with IFS EOI… that I cannot access. Can you share this material to me in a different way?

Cheers

Erwin

A pity, http://wiki.eoi.ifsworld.com/ doesn't exist anymore (as I think). Were did this information go to?
