Hide checkbox using IFS EE ?

Hello All,

 

I need to hide a checkbox on the screen using permission sets, does anyone know how can i do this ?

Hi @CapAvinaK,

We cannot define permission sets at the column/filed level. As a workaround, you can hide the check box from the layout and revoke the permissions from end-users that allow them to make changes to the layout.

“Hiding” won’t be done in a permission set.  The best you could do is remove their ability to access the presentation object that is behind it.

To just “hide” something - meaning that a user still technically has access to an object but cannot see it - you would need to use User Profiles (either a Base Profile or adjust the user’s Personal Profile) and remove it from there.  Look under Solution Manager / User Interface / User Profiles for where you would do this work.

Hi @CapAvinaK 

You cannot hide the checkbox by using permission sets. But you can disable it from specific users. for do that, you need to revoke the access for their presentation object connected the mentioned check box. Then the users cannot check/un-check the mentioned check box.
