Is anyone aware of a way to export the IFS navigator to for example Excel?

Hi Jur,

unzip the GZ-File, open Excel → File open → choose the Navigator.xml. You will get it in this Format:

Is this helpful?

The navigator is a compressed xml (xml.gz) file in the client folder on the MWS.

You need 7 zip or equivalent to uncompress it but I’m not sure how you would then get it in to Excel in a friendly format. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your response. I’m aware of this XML existing but I haven’t been able to get it into a friendly format. :disappointed:

Hi.

Probably solved the issue, but it looks like you try to open the compressed file. You need to exctract it before you do the import. I have not tried it yet, but i would recommend to use Power Query (part of Excel) where you could manipulate the import file.

Hi,

you can use the FND_NAVIGATOR_TAB. (join to itself)
Give me a PM to send you the script.

I’m currently looking for a way to find the corresponding german translation for the navigation.
