IFSv10, Update 20, Oracle 19. Enterprise Edition.

We have seen some issues with our Customer Order screen since upgrading from v9 to v10.

The symptom is that occasionally when a user queries the Customer Order screen, it will throw an ‘System Exception Error’ (see bottom screenshot).

We found that the user then needs to open a new window to continue working in IFS.

We have since found that the user can right click on the effected window - Custom Objects - Reload Configuration. Which has now made me suspect one of our many Custom Fields may be causing the issue?

Now I am investigating our Custom Fields and have noticed that nearly all custom fields in the associated _CFV have a data length of varchar2 4000, despite many be much smaller than this in the Custom Fields screen in IFS? Is this normal?
