We are tryng to modify a report and requries to add a view currently not present . As soon as we trying to open the source, Crystal Report crashes compeltely no error.
We are using Crystal rpeorts XI R2 and IFS Apps 9
Does anybody had have a similar experience? or any idea where can we start looking at?

A long time ago, I had a similar experience.
It was when I tried to connect to Oracle.
There is no warning or error message when it crashes.
A long time has passed since then. The Oracle Home and Crystal versions must be the same 32-bit version.

Thank you , we were suspicious of that being the issue, Do you remember if you fixed it by having only the 32-bit version of Oracle installed ? or if you were successfull at keeping both versions 32 in the main oracle home?

Yes, I fixed that using the same version of Oracle and Crystal Report.
It was difficult to find the answer since it did not provide any error messages.
