In the customer card, under the Address tab, I have added a new Custom Field – Account Manager.

I would like to use a migration job targeting the view CUST_ORD_CUSTOMER_ADDRESS to insert/update this field.

I created the following migration job based on my experience with IFS 9.

The full description is in the file. I'd appreciate your help.

Best regards,
Patrycja

Hi Patrycja,

I guess the “METHOD LIST” is not setup correctly.

Can you show a screenshot of the method list?

Best regards,

Johannes

 Hi Patrycja,

attached an “easy” example for COMPANY:

Method List

As only one method is used, you don´t need a fetch condition.

Is that working for you?

Best regards,

Johannes

Through trial and error, I managed to configure the excel migration job to a custom field.
I'm attaching screenshots.

Thank you for the tips. :)

Best,
Patrycja

Hi Patrycja,

that looks good.

Best regards,

Johannes

Patrycja,  can you describe what this screen shot from your documentation is all about?

Hi,

The data visible in the screenshot is:
- CFV view
- selected fields with numbers (Pos column), the rest set to zero,
- descriptions in the Source Column only for the fields used in the migration task (Flags = P and those you want to add or modify).

I'm not removing the remaining fields from the migration task. The task is universal, meaning you can change them and edit another field if necessary.

Best,

Patrycja

Thanks for some clarification.  So you chose to be more selective with what is available for add/modify instead of ALL columns.  Got it.

Your solution has been a Godsend.  thanks again!
