Hi,

I published my report in Business Reporter tool and it is available in Order Report Dialog box as well. When report is previewed, I get below error.

Any idea how to solve this?

Thanks.

Hi @shewa,

Please try the following:

1. Restart your machine and retry previewing the report.

2. Add a new location as the “trusted location” for Microsoft Excel.
Steps

  • Open Microsoft Excel, click the Microsoft Office Button and then click Excel Options.
  • Click Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings, and then click Trusted Locations.
  • If you want to create a trusted location that is not local to your computer, select the Allow trusted locations on my network (not recommended) check box.
  • Click Add new location.
  • In the field Path, type the name of the folder that you want to use as a trusted location, or click Browse to locate the folder.
  • If you want to include subfolders as trusted locations, select the Subfolders of this location are also trusted check box.
  • In the Description field, type what you want to describe the purpose of the trusted location. For example, use IFS Business Reporter Shared Folder.
  • Click OK.

3. If you have installed Dropbox, try turning off the Dropbox badge. This link shows how to do it.

4. If you have an older OS (ex: Windows 7), please check the possibility and upgrade the OS.
Afterwards, please check if the issue recreates.

Kind regards,

Hi Dinushi,

Thank you for your response. None of the above worked. Still struggling to view the report.

  1. Trusted location is set as advised
  2. Dropbox is not installed
  3. Machine is running on Windows 10

Any thing else to check? May be BI System Parameters?
