Hi all,

Currently trying to sync some users into an IFS Cloud environment through Azure User Provisioning and ideally we dont want the Person record to be created along with the User. Does anyone know of a way this can be done - if possible?

I’ve tried un-mapping the person attributes in Azure however, it errors saying that X attribute is needed for creation of the Person record.

Any help appreciated, thanks!

I think you’ll find that Person is connected everywhere and is the basis for other people objects.

Persons can be Users, Employees, Contacts, Representatives, but I believe that these four categories all depend on the Person for certain attributes that are more Global to be carried along.

Yes I understand that there are links between user - person, employee - person, person can be customer/supplier contact etc,

but you can create a user manually without linking a Person record, so I was wondering if you could do the same when syncing Azure users.

The following versions have a system parameter to control Person creation = yes  / no

22.2.22 - 22R2 SU22
23.1.15 - 23R1 SU15
23.2.8 - 23R2 SU8
24.1.2 - 24R1 SU2
24.2E.0 - 24R2 EA

what still does not work is supplying the personID in the SCIM provisioning, which is what I’m pushing, since I want to link the user to an existing person that was created from the employee file.
