@BewareHusco - sorry for the late reply. I noticed that it was available on the screens in Apps10. Sorry about leading you down the wrong path. The good news is, it’s a lot better in Cloud, yes.

If you click on your username in the upper right hand corner, and open the menu, you should see an option called “Field Descriptions”. When that is enabled, a small exclamation mark will show up next to the field. Click on that and you should see the help text associated with the field.

@anmise No exclamation mark appears, would you please provide screenshot?

Is there configuration that needs to be enabled first?

In our Apps10 Aurena environment using Chrome, in this sampling of pages (Parts, Purchase Orders, Customer Orders, Inventory Part) enabling Field Description does nothing, no field names have the exclamation point.

  • IFS Aurena framework version: 10.15.23.0
  • IFS Aurena client version: 10.15.132.0
  • IFS OData provider version: 10.15.2.0

@anmise @matt.watters  Is this fixed for Aurena using full IFS Cloud?
