I have ordered a report & when i go to ‘Print Report’ the Date/Number formatting is defaulting as en-US. In the layout the RDL is set as locale and my browser Edge is set to English British language & date format. Where/how do i set the formatting as default to en-GB instead. This is catching a lot of our users out and one would think this should be a fairly basic and straightforward requirement of system capability to default to GB options - we are a UK based company. Thanks

Hi @rkescoupland

I hope you’re doing well. If you need to change the date format for a report on the print dialog window, you may have to configure the report rule for doing this action.

Set a report rule with the below option
------------------------------------------------
# Action name — Preselect Property
# property list - LangCode=gb; LocaleCountry=GB; LocaleLanguage=en;

If you wish to apply these changes for all reports, you can leave the report id as blank.

Hi @rkescoupland ,

In IFS Cloud, when you set a user's language and locale in their profile settings, all reports should default to these settings. However, this behavior can be overridden by using a report rule. If no report rule is set, the language and locale settings should pass through from the application side.

Language- English-British

Auto select Date/Number Formatting: en-GB

Alternate way:
Instead of ordering the report through the application's product functionality, you can try using the Order Report wizard, inputting the required parameters directly. This should result in the report being printed as expected.
