In the Time Card week screen our week number is mis-aligned

This week should be Wk 1 and not Wk 2

I cant find anywhere to amend this.

Hi @Fentiger79,

I think it should be Wk 2. Refer below;

Wk 1 for 5th Jan to 11th Jan.

Further to check the schedule for the employee.

Employee File > Employment > Assignments > Schedule > Schedule details.

Hope this helps. Let me know the feedback.

Cheers,

SN

Hi @Fentiger79 ,

According to widely used calendar standards (ISO-8601), the week 1 of 2026 is from Dec 29, 2024 to Jan 4, 2026. Also there is standard to have 52 weeks.

So I think the options are to either create a new calendar to suits your requirement.

  • Define the First Week of the Year:

    • In the calendar setup, you can specify:
      • Start Day of the Week (e.g., Monday or Sunday)
      • First Week Rule (e.g., ISO standard or company-specific rule)
    • This ensures that HR-related functions like leave accruals, payroll periods, and reporting align with your company’s requirements.
  • Link Calendar to HR Functions:

    • Assign the calendar to relevant HR components such as:
      • Work Schedules
      • Payroll Periods
      • Absence Management

Or Set a custom rule: “Current week = Week 1”

Some companies define:

  • First week = first full working week
  • First week = first payroll cycle
