We are going from Apps 8 to the cloud. In apps 8, the external file templates allows us to choose what directory we are putting them in. We can’t find them in cloud. There is no path to enter only a file name. In help would be appreciated. We are using external files.

In IFS Cloud, the handling of external file templates is slightly different compared to Apps 8. As IFS Cloud is a browser-based solution, it is not possible to set a file path in your local PC as the output location for files. When you generate the file, it will instead be downloaded to your browser’s default download folder.
If you want the files to be saved directly to an FTP, SFTP, or network path, that can be configured through the IFS Connect setup.
